Quote - written by Neale D Walsch

The deepest secret is that life is not a process of discovery, but a process of creation. You are not discovering yourself, but creating yourself anew. Seek therefore, not to find out Who You Are, but seek to determine Who You Want to Be.

Dedicated to the One's I Love and Cherish.

My Journal

                            - Dedicated to Me, Myself and I.

                            - Dedicated also to Kris Anthony Richards,
                              and Michael Deram Richards.

What Reason do I have for writing this Journal?

My purpose of writing this Journal/blog is to record my story so that my boys can remember me and learn who I once was, through my eyes.

I would like my boys to know how I view myself and for them to understand why our perception of life is different.

I would like to share with them my journey through
interesting and challenging contexts of my personality.

My primary interest is to discover the real meaning or the central purpose of my life and how I attained it.

I am a seeker of the truth.

We each have our truth that we must discover for ourselves.
http://www.bobbieann.net/Introduction.html

The truth of who we are and why we are who we are. Once we uncover this truth, we can move on to become the person that we WANT to be. http://www.bobbieann.net/Introduction.html

What is the reality of who we are?

 Who am I?

What is the truth of why we are here on earth?

What do I believe?

What engages my passion?

What brings tears of gratitude?

And joy to my eyes?

Do I know myself?

Or have I lost myself?

What were my childhood interests?

What were my childhood dreams?

What are my values, goals and lifestyle choices?

I want to use my journal as means of self-expression, and self-awareness,

This journal is going to be my companion on the road to self-discovery
and as a productive recovery tool.

I believe and hope that once I have written down my feelings and thoughts, it will help me clarify things in my mind.

I want to change many things about myself and how I view others and the world.

I want to attempt to develop new insights about myself.
I also hope that my story might help others who are facing the hardships that I have had to live through.
I will use my journal to write my thoughts and feelings to aid me with my emotional pain and recovery.

I will write about my going concerns.

The main challenges and lessons that I am currently working on and how I am handling them to date.

I enjoy investigating and learning what I want to know and then I like to share those gems of knowledge with others by publishing information on my blog.

I won't try to fob you off by saying I am a Personal Development expert.

But what I will claim is to be is a student of life who loves to learn and research and discover new things to help with my Self Growth.
My writing not only comes from research but also from life experience, thinking, questioning and observing.

It is written from Memory to the best of my recollection and from the Heart.

My whole life has been a search for Meaning, Purpose & completeness

। search for a more meaningful, balanced life with personal peace of mind.

All my life I have lived in this great ocean of life searching for that something that would fill the empty feeling that I feel I have carried with me since childhood. I yearn for something that I cannot see but know exists. i can't ignore this feeling as it cries out to me day and night.

I have O.C.P.D(Obsessive,Compulsive Personality Disorder) and I am a perfectionist. I spent all my time cleaning and when I am not cleaning I spend my time on one of my other obsessions. But I feel that I was put on this earth to be more than just a cleaner. I do believe there must be a purpose for me being here. Why was i given intelligence if all I am meant to do is clean.? That makes no sense.

So against all odds I am on my journey - a journey of discovery.

it begins as all Journey's do - with one single step.

- a simple moment of choice.

There are so many things I don't understand.
 I lack a higher Perspective.

At the moment I am weary. I feel like I have travelled so far only to end up further back. I feel exhausted and beaten.

I have so many obstacles in my way - Compulsions,Obsessions and Addictions. My Thoughts, the conscious and the unconcious ones.

Fear is what stops me moving forward and I know this is only      False  Evidence Appearing Real.

Being intelligent helps me to understand that I must make these changes if I ever want to find peace, Love and myself.

I need to follow the path that will lead me to My Awakened Self of Consciousness.

I want and yearn to discover the truth of my existence.

Relationships

7 Essential ingredients needed in making any relationship work for you

http://www.relationshiptalk.net/7-essential-ingredients-in-making-any-relationship-work-for-you-138.html

(Click the link above to read the full article.)

The 7 essential ingredients needed are:

Communication

I hear the words, the thoughts, the feeling tones, the personal meaning, even the meaning that is below the conscious intent of the speaker. Sometimes too, in a message which superficially is not very important, I hear a deep human cry that lies buried and unknown far below the surface of the person.
So I have learned to ask myself, can I hear the sounds and sense the shape of this other person's inner world? Can I resonate to what he is saying so deeply that I sense the meanings he is afraid of, yet would like to communicate, as well as those he knows?

Carl R Rogers

Honesty

Honesty is the first chapter of the book wisdom.”
― Thomas Jefferson

Trust

A little girl and her father were crossing a bridge.
The father was kind of scared so he asked his little daughter:
"Sweetheart, please hold my hand so that you don't fall into the river." The little girl said:
"No, Dad. You hold my hand."
"What's the difference?" Asked the puzzled father.

"There's a big difference," replied the little girl.
"If I hold your hand and something happens to me, chances are that I may let your hand go. But if you hold my hand, I know for sure that no matter what happens, you will never let my hand go."

In any relationship, the essence of trust is not in its bind, but in its bond. So hold the hand of the person whom you love rather than expecting them to hold yours.

Empathy

Sympathy means feeling sorry for someone going through a bad situation, while empathy means putting yourself in the other person’s shoes and feeling what they are feeling.

Compromise

Compassion

I've learned that I have a lot of compassion for people. I've learned that crying and admitting when you're wrong are signs of strength, not weakness. I've learned that love is more important than money, power, or sex. I've learned that forgiveness heals everyone, most importantly you. I've learned that laughter is truly the best medicine for the soul. I've learned that you can't take life too seriously. I've learned that sometimes listening to what others have to say is the best therapy. I've learned that how people treat you is their karma and how you react is yours. I've learned that I've learned a lot, but still know very little.

Love

Ways To Get To A Girls Heart-- 1. Hug her from behind. 2. Grab her hand when you guys walk next to each other. 3. When standing, wrap your arms around her. 4. Cuddle with her. 5. Dont force her to do ANYTHING! 6. Write little notes. 7. Compliment her. 8. When you hug her, hold her in your arms as long as possible. 9. Say I love you.....and MEAN IT! 10. Brush the hair out of her eyes 11. Comfort her when she cries. 12. Love her with all your heart Girls- add this if you think its sweet. Guys- add this if you would do any of it

Finally, in order to make these 7 essential ingredients work for you in any type of relationship endeavor on which you choose to embark, it is necessary to be balanced. Balance or moderation is paramount in anything we do; but most especially in our interactions with each other. The more balanced our relationships are, the more pleasant they will be. The more pleasant they are, the happier we will be and the longer those relationships will last.

In fact, once more of us practice moderation in our lives and in our relationships with others, the sooner hatred, enmity and war will be a thing of the past.
